The same is true for our supplier base. We appreciate the value in diversity and access to goods and services provided by local and minority owned businesses. RCL is committed to improving supplier relationships with traditional diverse businesses such as minority owned, veteran owned, woman-owned, LGBT-owned, disability owned, veteran-disability owned, service-disabled veteran-owned businesses as well as the non-traditional historically underutilized, small, and geographically diverse businesses.
To this end, we are supporting members of the following diverse chambers of commerce and advocacy groups who are also certifying bodies for diversity suppliers:
- National Minority Supplier Development Council
- Women Business Enterprise National Council
- National Gay and Lesbian Chamber of Commerce
- National Veterans Business Development Council
RCL collects business diversity data through the vendor registration process. This helps to further develop the supplier diversity program with the purpose of developing suppliers to create opportunities to doing business with RCL.
